FAQ’s

Clear Night Photography

How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking as early as possible—especially for weddings and secret engagements—since dates fill up quickly. For events and lifestyle sessions, a few weeks’ notice is usually fine. Reach out anytime, and I’ll do my best to accommodate!

What should I wear for my session?
Choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable! I’m happy to offer guidance based on your location and session type. Most importantly, wear something that reflects you.

Where do you typically shoot?
I’m based in Bucks County but travel all across the East Coast. I’m happy to work with you on choosing locations that fit your vision—whether it’s a scenic park, a cozy home, or an urban setting.

How long does a typical session last?
Sessions usually last between 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the type: shorter for lifestyle or pet sessions, longer for weddings or cinematic shoots. We’ll chat beforehand to create a comfortable timeline.

Can I bring props or pets?
Absolutely! Props that are meaningful to you help tell your story. Pets are always welcome, and I love capturing their unique personalities.

Do you offer photo editing or retouching?
Yes! Every image is carefully edited to match my cinematic and natural style. I enhance lighting, colors, and minor imperfections, but always keep photos authentic to you.

What’s the turnaround time for receiving my photos?
Typical turnaround is 2-3 weeks. For weddings or larger events, it may take a bit longer due to volume and editing detail. If you need photos sooner, rush delivery is available as an add-on.

Can I get raw or unedited photos?
I do not provide raw files. My edited photos reflect the vision and quality I promise. Raw images are unfinished and don’t represent the Clear Night Photography style.

What if it rains or the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Weather happens! For outdoor shoots, we’ll work together to reschedule or find a suitable indoor alternative. Flexibility is key to capturing your best moments.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit (typically 25-50%) is required to secure your date for weddings and big events. This helps both of us commit fully to your session. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the shoot.

How do I book a session?
Simply reach out via the contact form, phone or email, and we’ll start planning your session together. I’ll guide you through the process, answer any questions, and make it easy and fun.

Do you have experience with faith-based or church events?
Yes! I’m honored to serve clients from all walks of life and love capturing moments that celebrate faith, community, and love.
